Colin is approximately 3 years old, a beautiful male Tabby with lots of potential and a lot to say!
Colin has had a difficult time, he has been living rough in Barnsley for 12 months or more, however he has quickly adapted to home life. He really enjoys human company and would benefit from being adopted by someone who is at home regularly. Colin would be keen to have access to the outside, he currently loves watching the birds through the window.
Colin is very affectionate, he loves to be fussed on his own terms and enjoys cuddles. Colin is an excellent guard cat at night, enjoying sleeping on the end of the bed.
Colin will make an excellent companion to a patient person in a quiet home. He will just need a little time to settle in and find his paws! Colin can get scared easily, which leads to him hissing in defence, he has occasionally batted with his paws, but usually without his claws. Over the past month being fostered with us Colin has really started to relax and settle. Colin still struggles with being picked up, but over time with the right love and care we are sure he will adapt to this.
Due to Colin’s difficult start in life we don’t believe he would be suitable to be rehomed with other animals or children as he would prefer to be a solo cat!
